For Our Residents

Architectural Review Committee ("ARC")...

  • ARC has the responsibility for ensuring houses and landscaping are maintained in an attractive manner.  ARC utilizes  "Architectural Guidelines"  from our Covenants to enforce design aspects fairly and consistently.  Any changes to the exterior of your  home or lot must be approved by ARC before work has begun.  Please  complete and submit  an "ARC Exterior Change Request" form, including specifications, drawings and other information needed by ARC to determine compliance with the guidelines.  To obtain a copy of the form, please click on the following link:  ARC Exterior Change Request .  The form contains information for submitting your form to ARC.

Street Parking...

  • Overnight street parking is restricted to visitors only with a maximum of three (3) consecutive days.  If you have a guest who will be staying at your home for more than three days, please notify IPM.  Overnight visitors should be instructed not to park across from a resident's driveway.
  • Any resident who parks a vehicle overnight in the street without prior notification to IPM will be subject to a fine.
  • Any resident renting a POD for moving purposes must notify IPM prior to rental.  PODs may be parked in the driveway but NOT on the lawn or in the street.
  • Please refer to our "Summary of Rules and Regulations" for additional information.

Pet Owners...

  • PLEASE RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBOR'S PROPERTY AND CLEANUP AFTER YOUR PET
  • The Buncombe County Animal Ordinance #03-11-12, Section 6-76 (a).  mandates  "Every person owning or having possession, charge, care, custody or control of any animal shall keep such animal exclusively upon his premises. However, such animal may be off such premises if it is under the control of a competent person and restrained by a chain, leash, harness or other means of physical control."

Black Bears...

  • The mountains of Western North Carolina are home to black bears.  They roam through the Asheville area and have been seen roaming around our community over the past few years.  A website titled "BearWise" was developed by bear experts from the Southeastern states and is supported by the Southern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies to help people live responsibly with black bears.  Please click on the following for their advice:  www.bearwise.org.

Neighborhood Watch Reminder...

  • DO NOT approach or follow anyone who appears to be acting suspiciously within our community.  Contact the Buncombe County Sheriff's office at 828-250-6670.  The law enforcement officers of the Sheriff's department are trained to handle unusual behavior or situations.
